WHAT ARE PIZZA ROLLS?

These crispy golden bites are filled with melted cheese, tomato sauce, and your favorite pizza topping. Combining all the savory flavors of pizza in a bite-sized, portable form - they are perfect for parties, game nights, or a quick snack.

INGREDIENTS

Wonton wraps: Wonton wraps can be found in the fridge aisle, usually next to the cream cheese or vegan area of your local grocery store. They are generally lower calorie and more convenient than making your own flour wraps.

Marinara sauce: You can choose any brand of marinara sauce on the shelf but for this recipe, choose one that ~50 calories per serving. Note, all of them have different ingredients that will affect the macros.

Turkey pepperoni: I like to use Hormel Turkey Pepperoni which is 70% less fat than their regular pepperoni; and therefore, fewer calories and it tastes just as good!

Ovalini mozzarella pearls: These are small mozzarella balls which are convenient for assembling your pizza rolls. If you can't find them, substitute with low-fat shredded mozzarella cheese - these will have better macros.

Light butter, minced garlic, salt: To make your butter garlic glaze!

Parsley flakes: This is optional as a garnish for the pizza rolls.
