Ingredients

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 6 teaspoon marinara sauce ½ teaspoon per roll
  • 12 slices turkey pepperoni
  • 12 small mozzarella pearls 1 per roll
  • nonstick cooking spray for a light coating
  • 2 tablespoon light butter 28 g, melted
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic about 1 small-to-medium clove
  • ⅛ teaspoon table salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • water as needed for sealing

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F if the manufacturer’s instructions call for preheating. Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Put ½ teaspoon marinara sauce, 1 mozzarella pearl, and 1 pepperoni slice in the center, keeping the edges clean.
  • Moisten the wrapper edges lightly with water.
  • Roll from one corner around the filling.
  • Fold the side corners toward the center and press the seams firmly closed. Repeat to make 12 rolls.
  • Arrange the rolls seam-side down in a single layer in the air-fryer basket, leaving space between them and working in batches if needed. Lightly coat them with cooking spray. Air fry at 400°F for about 6 minutes, checking early, until the wrappers are golden and crisp and the cheese is melted. Air fryers vary, so add time only as needed.
  • While the rolls cook, stir together the melted light butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt.
  • Brush or gently toss the hot rolls with the garlic-parsley butter. Let the filling cool for 1–2 minutes before serving.
